This is an original concert poster promoting the ever talented Junior Brown at the Aladdin Theatre in Portland during summer 2000. In many ways Brown was a musical pioneer when he created a new type of double-neck guitar called the "Guit-steel". The top neck on the guit-steel is a traditional six-string guitar while the lower neck is a full-size lap steel guitar for country slide playing. When performing Brown plays the double neck beauty by standing behind it while it rests on a small music stand. It's quite an impressive and innovative instrument!
