As such it’s unique and historically important provenance has been specially designated on the CGC label.

Here is a rare pacific northwest poster featuring the late great songwriter Elliott Smith at the legendary Crystal Ballroom in Portland on December 20th 2001. It was around this time that Smith's struggles with drugs and mental illness had a big effect on his life and his career. Although he was selling out concert halls as well as gaining recognition as a prolific writer & musician his all too short life ended less than two years later. This is the first time we’ve offered this Original Poster in our auction. It was produced for hanging on telephone poles record store windows ticket agencies and coffee houses around town.
