Here is a piece of cannabis culture ephemera at its finest. This 1967 Berkeley Bonaparte Rick Griffin Head shop poster states “ In God We Trust”. The image is appropriated from the oldest reverse design of all U.S. currency. This is another from a series of head shop/commercial posters that the artist created in 1967 to advocate the consumption of the worlds favorite sacred medicinal plant.
