The FINEST QUALITY CGC Graded example of this early Matrix poster to appear in our auction! The Blues Project one of the earliest improvisational blues / psychedelic bands played in San Francisco at the Matrix during the fall of 1966. The Matrix was owned by Airplane member Marty Balin and was the place to be for many early rock shows in the area.

This poster is featured in the Art of Rock Plate # 2.122 and this artifact is only the 4th CGC graded example of this original poster to ever appear in our auction. A lower 9.2 graded example previously reached $510 in our auction. In any other collectibles market this poster would be worth many multiples of the previously sold example. It will be interesting to see what premium the market attaches to this superior example now!
