Big-O posters were UK style commercial posters that were created by some of the best artists of the day. Martin Sharp was one of the major contributors to the series. This issue titled "The Birdman" is a tribute to the great German Artist Max Ernst. The image stems from Ernst's fascination with birds as well as his self styled alter ego "Loplop" a character who was part human and part bird. This limited edition poster was produced years later by the artist as a commemorative piece. Martin Sharp posters always enjoy top demand and this incredible piece of art rendered on silver foil is no exception! Super Clean Quality Condition!
