This original handbill was produced for the mighty Led Zeppelin to promote their concert appearance at the The Met Center in Bloomington Minnesota a suburb of Minneapolis on April 12th 1970. This is the first example of this handbill we've ever auctioned.
The concert was the 20th stop on the band's North American Spring tour and it was to a record sell-out audience. This was also the fateful tour when Jimmy Page's 1960 Gibson Les Paul "Black Beauty" guitar was stolen in Canada at the airport. In 2016 the guitar was finally returned to Page!
Due to their high status in the history of Rock and Roll Led Zeppelin material demands some of the highest values of all. The band gained momentum very quickly so they required very little promotional activity. This piece is in AMAZING Superb Museum Quality Condition!
