This original handbill / flyer was produced to promote the Film-Makers' Cinematheque presentation of Andy Warhol's "Vinyl" and "Poor Little Rich Girl" film premieres at the Astor Place Playhouse on June 19th and 20th 1965. At the time The Village Voice paper had described them as Warhol's first "nonstatic" films and this flyer produced by the Astor echoes that same reference in the text. A true period piece in fantastic condition and not to be overlooked by Warhol fans who want it ALL.
THERE IS NO BIGGER NAME IN THE ART AND COLLECTIBLES WORLD THAN ANDY WARHOL. Period. Billions of dollars of wealth have been created by the Andy Warhol brand. Those lucky enough to acquire one of his early pieces have become multi-millionaires. Those that had the foresight to buy his work in quantity now have a solid 9 figure $100 000 000+ net worth. That’s right hundreds of millions of dollars have been made by single collectors with Warhol. There is nothing theoretical about this: it is undisputed fact.
