Here we have an original poster promoting a 1987 concert by the late great Warren Zevon at the Paramount. Known for his dry wit and acerbic lyrics the talented songwriter was touring with the celebrated punk group "X". This is the first time we’ve offered this Original Poster in our auction! It was produced for hanging on telephone poles record store windows ticket agencies and coffee houses around town.
Material from the pacific northwest is always considered special by collectors. They often tell a story all their own and have a different vibe than pieces from other parts of the country. It’s hard to believe this poster is over 25 years old. “Telephone pole flyers” like this are highly collectible and are notably representative of the music loving culture that produced them.
