This original first printing concert poster was produced for the Youngbloods and Kaleidoscope (featuring David Lindley) at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland Oregon on June 14th and 15th of 1968. It was one of the final shows at the venue. The Crystal Ballroom was built in 1914 as the Cotillion Dancehall in the northwest. It was constructed on ball bearings which created a mechanical “Floating Dance Floor” a concept that was unique on the west coast at the time. The venue had a brief flowering as a psychedelic rock ballroom from January 1967 through summer 1968.
