This is the FINEST QUALITY CONDITION CGC Graded example of this Handbill we've ever auctioned! Jefferson Airplane appearing with the Great Society (Featuring Grace Slick). An incredible Original Handbill created by Alton Kelley and Stanley Mouse two of the most legendary artists of the era! It is one of the most stunning and sought after images in the entire Family Dog series. The original “Snake Lady” handbills were printed with runs of purple ink on white yellow and pink paper. This example is the OHB-A first variant on white paper. Eric King states in his guide: "The central image is a photographic reproduction of the painting Die Suene (Sin) by Franz (von) Stuck."

Handbills are red hot! Read our blog dated 5/18/18 to learn more. Original material from the early days of the Avalon are increasingly harder to uncover and these handbills are beginning to explode in value. NOW is the time to pick up these relics before they evaporate from public sale!
