This is only the 6th CGC graded example of the elusive FD-34 original poster we've ever auctioned. It's an early 13th Floors Elevators poster created by a seldom used Family Dog Artist Steve Renick. In February 2018 a pristine 9.8 graded example reached a record breaking high water mark of $2082 in our auction. This one here will attract a lot of interest from collectors and yet also provide a special opportunity to acquire this issue for less than the higher mint examples would command.
News spread quickly last year about the sad passing of Roky Erickson at age 71 which has already spurred a massive interest in concert material for collectors and fans alike. Texas native Roger Kynard "Roky" Erickson was a founding member of The 13th Floor Elevators and a pioneer of the psychedelic rock genre.
