This sale has a selection of unusual offerings from the printer’s room floor. This collection of test prints has been saved for the past 40+ years and are occasional works of art in themselves. Test prints like this were routinely used by the printers and artists at press time to test elements of the printing process. They were used to get a clear idea of color and registration.  Most of these were thrown out at the time as they were of no use after the posters were completed. The resulting surviving prints are interesting & accidentally beautiful on their own.

This test print incorporates elements of handbills for BG-283 BG-284 a Creedence Clearwater Revival poster and BG-287 on the reverse.
