The work of Fillmore poster artist David Singer is a sub genre of poster art in itself. Singer’s output was the largest of any single Fillmore poster creator. The artists’ photo collage style sometimes gets overlooked initially as it is not as obvious as some of his predecessors' art. However as collectors dig in a bit they discover the great depth beauty and symbolism in Singer’s body of work. Advanced collectors realize that it is just a matter of time before Singer posters increase in value and prestige.
This poster is a David Singer powerhouse. It does not come up often and when it does it sells for very strong money. In addition to the great design Eric King says this show was cancelled and distribution was limited. This could account for its scarcity and value. We previously auctioned another CGC graded 9.6 example that brought $472.00 at auction.
