Here we have the Finest CGC Graded example of this Original Poster to appear in our auction! This poster is one of David Singer's most beautiful works of art advertising one of The Who's historic performances.

According to legend at this stop on The Who’s 1973 Quadrophenia tour drummer Keith Moon was allegedly so high that he was unable to play through all of the sets. The band played a few songs without a drummer then Pete Townshend asked for a drummer from the audience. Then nineteen-year-old drummer Scott Halpin embraced the opportunity of a lifetime and joined the Who onstage for several songs.

This is only the second example of this First Printing Poster to appear in our auction with CGC grading. In September 2018 a lower 8.0 graded example reached $575 in our auction. This higher graded piece is free of pinholes - with only a small tear on the bottom center edge and light toning holding it back from a higher strict yet conservative CGC grade.
