The Hawaii Aoxomoxoa was inspired by the artwork for the third Grateful Dead album. This poster was created for a run of cancelled 1969 Dead shows in Honolulu Hawaii. As the legend goes the printer did not get paid by the promoter and destroyed all but a handful of copies.
This piece is Signed by the late great artist in Museum Quality Condition and 100% Original with no restoration! In October 2017 another 9.4 graded example reached $1047 in our auction and it wasn't SIGNED like this one here! More and more collectors are coming into the fold with the knowledge that artist signatures add a whole other dimension to their treasures.
