1967 - Grande Ballroom – 1967 New Years Run- John Lee Hooker MC5 – PAE Graded Mint 93

This killer poster by Carl Lundgren is one of the artist’s most treasured designs of the “Grande” series. This poster was created to promote the Christmas through New Years run of shows at the Grande in 1967. This week long run featured a performance by legendary bluesman Jon Lee Hooker as well as the favorite Detroit acts of the day. This original printing measures 13 & 3/16” x 22 19/64”. This poster is the only in this collection to make PAE’s Mint category. This poster has 4 tape stains a band of toning and a light line of puckering only visible on the reverse. It has no tears holes or missing paper. The poster exhibits exceptionally light waviness as do all from this recently uncovered stash.
