Produced for hanging on telephone poles record store windows ticket agencies and coffee houses this beautiful poster promotes a 1994 concert at Bojangles in Portland featuring two of the most legendary names from the late sixties The New Riders of the Purple Sage and Country Joe McDonald.
Material from the pacific northwest is always considered special by collectors. They often tell a story all their own and have a different vibe than pieces from other parts of the country. It’s hard to believe this poster is over 25 years old. “Telephone pole fliers” like this are highly collectible and are notably representative of the music loving culture that produced them.
