This is the first time we’ve auctioned this Original Midnight Oil Poster! Produced for hanging on telephone poles record store windows ticket agencies and coffee houses this poster promotes a 1993 concert at the famous Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in Portland. This show was part of the group's tour supporting their 8th Studio Album: "Earth and Sun and Moon".
Material from the pacific northwest is always considered special by collectors. They often tell a story all their own and have a different vibe than pieces from other parts of the country. It’s hard to believe this poster is over 25 years old. “Telephone pole fliers” like this are highly collectible and are notably representative of the music loving culture that produced them.
