These relics have never appeared in our auction until NOW! This is a collection of 2 books by Dr Timothy Leary. One is SIGNED by Leary himself on the first page! Unlikely that you'll see either book in another auction anytime soon let alone a hand signed copy of NEUROPOLITICS! Timothy Leary was one of the most visible figures of the 1960's counter culture. The one time Harvard professor was an early advocate of the psychedelic experience and consciousness expanding substances. 

NEUROPOLITICS - By TIMOTHY LEARY - "The Sociobiology of Human Metamorphosis" - with ROBERT ANTON WILSON and GEORGE A. KOOPMAN - Published by STARSEED / PEACE PRESS - SECOND Printing (1st printing was published in 1977 and this printing was produced soon after) - Quality Paperbound Book - 6 29/32" x 9 13/16" - 160 pages - The first title page features a large beautiful flowing cursive black ballpoint pen ink HAND SIGNATURE by TIMOTHY LEARY - Dr. Leary hand signed this book for the consignee at a New Age Fair in Spokane WA on May 19th 1991 - Has some shelf wear along with very light toning at the paper edges (see scan) - Spine is tight although does have a crease from having been read - PAE Graded Near Mint "87" condition.

Timothy Leary Ph.D. has been a world-renowned psychologist a defrocked Harvard professor a relentless champion of brain change a reputed drug guru a stand-up philosopher and a prisoner of the Nixon administration. He has been called 'the most dangerous man on the planet.'

While in prison at time in solitary confinement he wrote the first version of this book. ("I must confess that at that time I was alienated a bit daft and given to occasional fits of irritation. So color the first version of this book indigo—as in Jail House Blues.") Neuropolitics presents some of Dr. Leary's best ideas his reflections on the past and his hope for the future.
