This is a truly beautiful original LIMITED EDITION of 750 screenprint poster on heavy stock in superb museum quality condition! Vida Blue is a super-group trio featuring Page McConnell from Phish with Oteil Burbridge of The Allman Brothers Band Aquarium Rescue Unit and Dead & Company and Russell Batiste from The Funky Meters. This poster was produced for their FIRST live debut together in late 2001 at Higher Ground in Vermont & NEW YEARS EVE at the Roseland Ballroom in New York.
The band originated only a few months prior when Page McConnell attended shows by both The Allman Brothers Band and The Meters and he approached both Burbridge and Batiste asking about the Vida Blue project. Both jumped at the chance. The rest was history! Their first album was released 6 months after these live debut concerts!
