This is a collection of 2 Vintage 1967 East Village Other Underground Newspapers. Each measure approx 11 1/2 x 17".
IMPORTANT: The items you see here are actually very rare artifacts from the famed PSYCHEDELIC SHOP in San Francisco! Both of these newspapers are addressed to the Psychedelic Shop - Owned by Ron and Jay Thelen in Haight-Ashbury. The newspapers were delivered & owned by that shop as part of its own subscription! This has a major impact on the uniqueness and SCARCITY of these historic pieces! (Notice the shop address and name stamped on the top of each paper in our photo)
The East Village Other was an underground newspaper publication which documented the ever changing New York scene as well as the late sixties movement across the country. These issues are very rare and although not graded they are in great condition overall considering how few have survived the test of time.
