Rick Griffin's Hawaii Aoxomoxoa was produced to promote a three day event at the Honolulu International Center featuring the Grateful Dead & It’s a Beautiful Day in July of 1969. This original handbill is one of very few to survive the years as the concert was cancelled and most of the copies were destroyed.  According to legend the bulk of the posters were destroyed due to the promoter never having paid the printer. However the original owner of this card lived on Owahu in 1969 and received this copy from a record store/ poster shop. He has written a document that explains this which can be made available to the owner if desired.
