The Joint show was a major event for the San Francisco Psychedelic Poster scene. The event was a high profile gallery exhibition that showed the work of the top concert poster artists of the day. The posters from the event are well known and hold a place in every thoughful concert poster collection.

This piece being offered here is an incredibly well preserved relic from the event. It is a portfolio that we believe was either handed out  or sold at the event. The portfolio slipcase is an over-sized replica of a pack of Zig Zag Rolling Papers .This was likely a nod to the ever popular  FD -14 . This slip case    folded illustrations by each the "Big Five" ( Wilson Griffin Mouse Kelley & Moscoso) artists with a photograph on  one side and another illustration on the back.

Also included is a portrait of the Big Five on a stamped invitation(photo by Bob Seidemann) that credits  graphic arts consultant Levon Mosgofian & Lithographers Neal Stratford and Kerr. In addition there are single sheets that have a photograph on the front and a bio on the back  for three additional artists: Ralph Cheese Gerhard Nicholson Richard William Leonard.

We have seen individual items from this offered but never the whole piece intact
