This LARGE limited edition poster is signed and numbered 494/800 in pencil by the artist Frank Kozik!
Here is the FIRST example of this issue to appear in our auction! During late 1993 Nirvana embarked on their “In Utero” tour and Texas artist Frank Kozik designed this wonderful LIMITED EDITION poster to promote their concert at the Astro Arena in Houston on December 6th. The Breeders and Shonen Knife were supporting. There were only 800 printed of this issue! Nirvana original material has been RED HOT in our auctions lately and this difficult to find lot should prove to be no different.
Frank Kozik got his start gaining popularity for designing posters around the Austin area in the late 80’s and early 90’s. His abilities grew and he has since become a member of the Stuckism art movement. His vast collection of beautiful work includes bands like Pearl Jam Neil Young Soundgarden Stone Temple Pilots and the ever mighty Bad Livers featuring the great Danny Barnes! This limited edition poster is in Museum Quality Condition with no nicks cuts tears or pinholes!
