This early 1970’s Rod Stewart original poster has never surfaced in our auction before and we’re pleased to offer it now for the FIRST TIME! The concert took place at the Syria Mosque in Pittsburgh on July 16th 1971 and featured Small Faces along with Deep Purple and Southern Comfort supporting.
The line up for Small Faces during this era was Ronnie Wood Ronny Lane Kenny Jones Ian McLagen and new singer Rod Stewart. Wood and Stewart had previously performed with The Jeff Beck Group. Later in 1975 Ronnie Wood began working with the Rolling Stones and was officially declared a full time member of the Stones in February 1976. Faces lead singer Rod Stewart also began a successful solo career.
