This original cardboard poster was produced to promote the historic seventh annual Long Beach Blues Festival held in September 1986 at the California State University in Long Beach North Athletic Field. The 2 day festival featured a killer lineup including the great Buddy Guy Albert King a Super Harmonica Jam with James Cotton Rod Piazza & Jr. Wells Hank Crawford Jimmy Johnson Robert Lockwood Jr. & Pinetop Perkins Little Milton and Koko Taylor. This is the FIRST example of this scarce cardboard poster to appear in our auction!
