Timothy Leary was one of the most visible figures of the 1960's counter culture. The one time Harvard professor was an early advocate of the psychedelic experience and consciousness expanding substances.

This 10-page pamphlet was written by Beat poet Allen Ginsberg as a statement of defense for Leary when he was being held in Switzerland for extradition to the US per the demand of the Nixon administration. The effort was successful and Leary remained in Switzerland in exile for the next few years.
