A very unique and obscure original 1967 poster with major eye appeal and in HIGH QUALITY condition! The Hour Glass (Duane & Gregg Allman pre-Allman Brothers) Canned Heat and Love are featured on this poster for a run of shows which took place at the Blue Law Ballroom in Torrance California. The venue later changed its name to The Bank - and subsequently produced an incredible series of posters and handbills under that name - some of which you've seen in our previous auctions.
Early Duane & Gregg Allman posters are always on everyone’s want list. Canned Heat appeared at most of the major musical events at the end of the 1960s including Monterey and Woodstock. Not to mention original material from the Blue Law era of this venue is extremely difficult to find especially in this fine condition! A small crease on the left edge and super light handling are the only flaws holding this piece back from a perfect grade. There are no tears or pinholes.
