Incredible condition! This original concert poster announced the grand opening of the Western Front. The Western Front was a short lived and relatively obscure rock club that opened in June of 1967 in San Francisco’s Tenderloin district. This Greg Irons poster announces the first week of shows with Big Brother Quicksilver and The Charlatans at the venue. Artist Greg Irons was one of the great-unsung heroes of the 1960’s psychedelic art scene. Irons was a master underground comix poster and tattoo artist. His style was perfect for each of those mediums. Here's a great article on Greg Irons & his internationally famous work as a Tattoo Artist.
