This poster is signed in pencil by the artist Victor Moscoso!
Wow! The FIRST CGC graded example of this fabulous original first printing poster we have ever offered! This Victor Moscoso designed poster is fourth in the bright colorful Neon Rose series and it's one of the more difficult to locate Big Brother concert posters of all!
Everything changed for Janis Joplin in 1966 when she joined Big Brother and the Holding Company. That band because of her addition went on to become a major force in the emerging San Francisco psychedelic rock scene. In 1967 she quickly gained national attention after her performance at the Monterey Pop Festival.
More and more collectors are coming into the fold with the knowledge that artist signatures add a whole other dimension to their treasures. Read our blog dated 1/20/18 where we discuss the skyrocketing demand for signed material such as this lot.
