We're pleased to present only the second CGC graded example of this 1968 Original First Printing Carousel Poster to appear at public auction! Here’s just a wonderful cartoony yet very psychedelic piece! This poster by artist Rick Shubb announced three performances by the incomparable innovator Thelonious Monk at the legendary Carousel Ballroom. The late great Dr John and The Amazing Charlatans were in support. Thelonious Monk is widely recognized as one of the most important and influential jazz musicians of the past century. Material featuring Monk from this era in history seldom surfaces for collectors in ANY condition!
