Coverage of Aretha Franklin's sad passing a couple years ago has spurred worldwide interest in collectibles related to the legendary singer. Here we have one of only a few CGC Graded examples of this amazing issue to appear in our auction and it's the FINEST QUALITY we've EVER offered! Soul queen Aretha Franklin performed in LA at the Century Plaza Hotel in 1971 and recorded a memorable live album!
This example is in Superb Museum Quality Condition with no nicks tears cuts or pinholes! In December 2017 a MUCH lower 8.5 graded example reached $558 in our auction. In any other collectibles market this poster would be worth many multiples (5x-10x) of the previously sold example. It will be interesting to see what premium the market attaches to this superior 9.6 graded example now!
Why?
Because it's an absolute fact that the advent of CGC third party authentication and grading has resulted in many thousands of collectors all trying to assemble collections of "the best of the best". Of these thousands only ONE will be able to add this beautiful specimen to their collection. A very special opportunity!
