This famous design is coveted the world over and is sure to be the highlight of whichever collection in which it resides!
To understand the desirability of this poster is to understand the opportunity that this whole genre offers. This magnificent rarity was issued in well under 500 pieces and very few still survive today in ANY condition. This is just the FOURTH CGC graded example we have ever offered. A previous example was a lower graded 7.0 that realized a bargain price of $4 889 two years ago in March 2018.
Advanced collectors all know that the Family Dog posters 1-4 are all extremely undervalued at current price levels and all but impossible to locate. The FD-1 and the FD-2 already command prices of many tens of thousands of dollars the FD-3 and FD-4 are not yet there but probably one day very soon will be!
