Here we have a very early and scarce original poster for the Bob Dylan/ Joan Baez tour in 1965! According to The Art of Rock Dylan wasn’t thrilled with the image and it was only used on a very limited basis. This artwork is featured in The Art of Rock plate# 1.101
Early Bob Dylan material rarely sells at public auction as Dylan pieces are almost always held back primarily trading privately for some other major rarity instead of being sold for currency. For one to surface in this amazing high quality condition is almost unheard of and when it does collectors across the globe take notice. This particular title is one of the most celebrated designs of his legendary early folk-acoustic career.
We have previously auctioned an un-restored example graded 9.4 by CGC for $5100 last year. This specimen here will provide collectors with a very special opportunity not to be missed!
