This is FIRST CGC graded example of this postcard to ever appear at public auction and without a doubt the FINEST Quality Condition EVER! Scott Richardson's hard rock band SRC performed around Detroit while opening for several national and international artists like Jimi Hendrix The Who The Rolling Stones and Janis Joplin. They were featured at this 1970 run of shows at the Grande Ballroom along with All The Lonely People and other local acts.
The experienced collectors we talk to are 100% convinced that postcards that have somehow miraculously earned a 9.9 or 10 grade from CGC are exceedingly undervalued at current market levels. The Grande Ballroom series produced some of the finest imagery from the 1960’s music scene. In many cases promoter Russ Gibb chose to only produce postcards to promote events.
