This historic Original Poster features the great MC5 appearing for two shows at The Warehouse on India Street in Providence Rhode Island during early February 1970. Their promotional material is highly sought after by collectors. A very rare issue - possibly one of the last few surviving copies..?. This is the same poster we auctioned in our February sale.
MC5 started their music career in Michigan and developed a reputation for energetic and polemical live performances. They were a mainstay at the Grande Ballroom in Detroit. Their 1969 debut album “Kick Out the Jams” landed them into the history books. Their lifespan was unfortunately short-lived and in 1972 the band came to an end - just three years after their debut record.
