Here we have an original cardboard concert poster produced for Elvis Costello and the Attractions appearing at Los Angeles Sports Arena in 1981. Elvis Costello has won multiple awards in his long successful career and in 2003 Costello and the Attractions were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This 100% Original poster was produced by Colby Printing Co before the concert.
The historic Colby Poster Printing Company produced promotional material between 1948 and 2012 and they became legendary for their signature fluorescent inks and bold all-caps typography although none of the original staff had any formal design training. They were members of the letterpress union the screen printers union and the typesetters union.
