The Matrix a small San Francisco club in the Marina produced some of the finest concert advertising art of the era.  The most recogzied  from the series are Victor Moscoso's Neon Rose posters. In addition to those striking posters there are a wonderfully creative selection of handbills created by lesser know artists. These smaller pieces are both beautiful and scarce. This blue  Sparrows handbill was created by artist named Leidenthal who designed several other Matrix Flyers. The Sparrow were a Canadian Band that featured John Kay and eventually evolved into Steppenwolf.
