An original poster that seldom surfaces for collectors this difficult to locate Big Brother issue has only appeared with CGC Grading twice before in our auctions over the past five years.
Ask any experienced collector and they will tell you “The First” in any series of any collectible is always one of the most desirable and sought after. This poster promoted the Grand Opening of the Continental Ballroom in Santa Clara Ca. The event featured Big Brother and Quicksilver two of the quintessential bands of the era. MAJOR historical significance here and as such is high demand.
Four years ago in August 2016 a 9.6 graded example reached $1 156 in our auction. This specimen here is of very similar caliber - free of tears or pinholes - in museum quality and 100% Original with no restoration whatsoever. It could be years before we see this poster surface again in such great condition.
