This is the FINEST QUALITY CONDITION CGC Graded example of this classic handbill to ever appear in our auction! It was created for the famous Grateful Dead concerts in 1980 at the Warfield Theater in San Francisco. The 1980 Warfield shows featured a rare acoustic set by the Dead. This image designed by Dennis Larkin features two skeletons leaning on the historic venue. A similar design was made for the 1980 Radio City Music Hall Dead shows but that advertisement was disapproved of by the venue’s management and was quickly recalled.

The reverse of this handbill exhibits a welcome letter from Bill Graham Presents which describes the magic of the Warfield and what deadheads have in store for this historic run of shows. This example here being the FINEST CGC graded handbill to be offered is sure to attract attention! Superb Museum Quality Condition!
