Armadillo HQ concert posters are red hot in today's marketplace with the appreciation for their rarity and historical importance growing more each day. A recently published book on the venue has further ignited interest. Combining this legendary venue with the incomparable Frank Zappa makes for a concert poster of extreme desirability. This wonderful image was designed by noted Armadillo artist Micael Priest.
The Armadillo World Headquarters opened in Austin just after the closing of the Vulcan Gas Company. It went on to become the premiere venue in that musically rich city from 1970-1980. This legendary club offered an incredibly eclectic range of performers in its 10 year tenure. The posters from these shows represent one of the greatest collections of poster art available anywhere.
