This Rolling Stones reprint poster was designed by artist John Pashe for the band's March 1971 UK Tour. This is the second printing of this issue. Originals have a very distinct bright green on the lawn areas. The reprint like this one here has a more brownish tint. The concerts performed during this UK tour were high energy and proved to be a legendary era for the band. The Stones landmark "Sticky Fingers" was released a month later.
Rather than licking their wounds after Altamont the Rolling Stones recorded a follow-up that was the equal of "Let It Bleed " taking "Brown Sugar" from a drug-induced all-night session in Muscle Shoals "Sister Morphine" from the "Let It Bleed" sessions and 8 more blistering tracks recorded in their mobile unit during the summer of 1970. This really was an amazing era for the Stones.
