Here we have an Allman Brothers handbill in AMAZING CONDITION we are offering for the FIRST time in our auction! The Allman Brothers Band were touring continuously in spring of 1972 following the relase of their third album "Eat A Peach". This concert in Oklahoma City was just months after the tragic death of Duane Allman however the design on this handbill still includes him with the rest of the band (the same "Fillmore East" band photo).
"We'd been through hell but somehow we were rolling bigger than ever " stated Gregg Allman when asked in past interviews about the spring and summer of 1972. Very little material from the early years of the Allman brothers still exists today in this amazing condition. ABB Handbills featuring an image of the late great Duane Allman are highly desirable and especially targeted by collectors.
