This original first printing postcard is by the legendary “Big Five” artist Victor Moscoso. This image is beautiful and can be difficult to find therefore highly sought after as such. The FD-42 is the first postcard to be produced in the numbered avalon series (no known handbill exists of this issue) and these cards were cut smaller than all the FD postcards which followed this issue. They were printed on thicker stock similar to the posters and have been described by many collectors to be one of the most difficult issues to locate.
