Presenting the first time we’ve auctioned this Oasis Original Poster! Produced for hanging on telephone poles record store windows ticket agencies and coffee houses this poster promotes a 1994 Oasis concert at the Satyricon in Portland. The famous Gallagher brothers’ group still had their original lineup and this was the second date of their first major US tour. This piece was designed by noted poster artist Mike King.
Material from the pacific northwest is always considered special by collectors. They often tell a story all their own and have a different vibe than pieces from other parts of the country. It’s hard to believe this poster is over 25 years old. “Telephone pole flyers” like this are highly collectible and are notably representative of the music loving culture that produced them. This poster is in Superb Museum Quality with no visible flaws of any kind!
