Presenting the first example of this Original Poster to appear in our auction! The Wall is one of Pink Floyd’s greatest albums and one of the most well-known concept albums second only to Dark Side of the Moon. The Wall concerts in 1980 and 1981 were memorable in many ways particularly for their large scale visual and stage effects.
After performing The Wall in the states the year prior at the LA Sports Arena and Nassau Coliseum the Floyd scheduled a run of shows at the Westfalenhalle in Dortmund West Germany on February 13-19 1981. This poster only lists the first 7 Wall concerts in Dortmund. An 8th show on February 20th was added later due to overwhelming ticket demand.
Reprints of this poster have been available in circulation for years however this example here is an Original FIRST Printing with no restoration. Note: The post-concert reprints do not display the MAMA Concerts logo in the upper left corner like this example does. An incredible find!
