With the sad recent passing of the great Neil Peart we felt it would be appropriate to offer a poster giving homage to one of Neil’s most treasured musical influences – the fabulous Buddy Rich.
Many believe Buddy Rich was one of the greatest drummers who ever lived. In the world of jazz he displayed virtuoso technique power and incredible speed. Over the years he performed with big names like Tommy Dorsey Harry James Count Basie and he led his own big band.
This vintage cardboard concert poster features Rich and his “Big Big Band” playing a run of shows at the historic Isy’s Supper Club in Vancouver. A super scarce piece of history which will not likely surface again for collectors anytime soon - if ever.
