This is the only the second CGC graded example of this Winterland poster to appear in our auction. Quicksilver Messenger Service along with Big Brother and Congress of Wonders hosted a run of Christmas shows at Winterland during December 1967. The poster was designed by Gut one of the Hell’s Angels. Gut also designed several Big Brother posters for Sokol Hall. Read the colorful story about Gut here. While still relatively difficult to locate this is the kind of poster that would appeal to new collectors as it is much more affordable than what the high grade mint examples would command. A great opportunity!
