This bright poster is the 5th produced for Victor Moscoso’s retinal burning Neon Rose series and was printed for a Sopwith Camel show at the Matrix in San Francisco.

The band Sopwith Camel named by founding member Peter Kraemer formed in late 1965 and included Terry MacNeil William "Truckaway" Sievers Martin Beard and drummer Norman Mayell. The group performed regularly at the Matrix as well as the Marigold Ballroom and several other popular west coast venues. This could be one of their most celebrated posters of all.

Victor Moscoso had an arrangement with the management of the Matrix to produce a series of posters for shows at this small club in the Marina. Of the approximately 2000 posters printed the club would use a few hundred for publicity. The bulk of the remaining posters were retained by the artist to sell as merchandise. This beautiful example is in Superb Museum Quality Condition and it's only the 5th we've offered with CGC grading!
