This poster belonged to Frank Westlake owner of the legendary Bindweed Press in San Francisco!

A classic we don't see often enough this is only the 4th CGC graded example we've offered of this rarity! For this early Family Dog/Avalon Ballroom poster entitled “Wonderland” artist Wes Wilson used a photograph of the world-renowned surrealist painter Salvador Dali falling down the Rabbit hole.

This poster perfectly captures the chaos and energy of the 1960’s and is seldom seen in any decent state of preservation. In February 2019 a similar 8.0 graded example reached $720 in our auction. Extremely undervalued and highly desirable! 100% Original with no restoration! This piece is unique because it belonged to Frank Westlake owner of the legendary Bindweed Press in San Francisco!
